“Masterpieces Revisited”

“Masterpieces Revisited” is an exhibit by Intermediate/Advanced students of Sonja Hamilton’s watercolor classes at Placer School for Adults.  All paintings had to be replicated as painted except for using either a cat or dog “parts” instead those of a human.  See a thumbnail and re-creation of masterpieces of “Birth of Venus” by Diane Tharp, an Auburn Old Town Gallery member, “American Gothic” and 12 other paintings as will as Sonja, an Auburn Old Town Gallery gallery member displaying her rendition of a Lautrec poster.
