Trish Rickard • Jewelry

Jeweler Trish Rickard began working with silver and gemstones in High School, making jewelry and cutting cabochons, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Metalsmithing at the University of Georgia. Granted a scholarship to study Metalsmithing and Art History in Cortona, Italy, she was inspired to become a Jewelry Designer and Fabricator. Trish became a Graduate Gemologist, attending the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California. Her experience in the Gem and Jewelry Industry includes work in Retail and as a Sales Representative on the West Coast for several companies. She has also worked as an Exhibitor at the American Gem Trade Association Show in Tucson, and the leading Jewelry Industry Trade Show in Las Vegas for over 30 years. Drawing on her extensive gemology experience, she thoughtfully procures the finest gems and cabochon-cut stones to complement her designs.
Yvonne Warren • Fabric Art
Yvonne Warren’s interest in fashion started at an early age. She loves mixing
various kinds of old and new media to create wearable art using scraps of fabrics,
threads, tee-shirts, remnants, paints, and beads. Yvonne mixes and matches
fabrics, textures, and color in all her pieces, putting fibers and colors together
to create unique pieces perfect for the modern bohemian woman. Yvonne is a big supporter of non-profit creative re-use organizations whose main mission is to
recycle and keep materials and fabrics out of the already crowded land fill.
Everything she designs is one of a kind and eco conscious. Her fiber art mixes
her love of her heritage and obsession with ethnic fabrics and gems. She has her
own art studio shop, Jewels & Fiber, in Sacramento where she teaches a variety
of mixed media classes, a trendy art and craft studio where women can come
to relax and feed their need for creative self-expression.
