Sandy Lindblad’s pastel painting titled “I’ve got the Balls” won First Place in the Professional Division in the pastel section at the Nevada County Fair. This painting is available if interested! We are thrilled to welcome Connie Rodriguez to our gallery! Connie’s background is in Art and Psychology, and her art is heavily influenced by dreams and the imagery from them. As a contemporary artist, Connie is inspired by nature, dreams, and the mysteries of both. “My attention and passion continues to be captured by the surprises that occur once the paint begins to inform me of what will happen next. Just like the night time dream, painting is a waking dream and just as we are receivers of the dream and its imagery, the story on canvas is told not by me, but by the images themelves.”
Connie works mostly with acrylics with mixed media, exploring bold colors and different textures and dimensions. We hope you come visit the gallery soon to see Connie’s beautiful and fascinating paintings!

Join the fashion fun at the Auburn Old Town Gallery on Friday, August 4, at 6:00 pm for the “Not Your Mother’s Closet” fashion show and reception! Our fashion show will feature jewelry, scarves, garments, and other “one of a kind” wearable art. This special exhibit will run from August 1 – 31.
Chris Foster is an excellent example of the quality of artists in our gallery! Her painting, “United We Stand” was accepted into the international show, Magnum Opus at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center! This show runs from June 27 through July 23, 2017. Congratulations, Chris!

We are proud to welcome Judy Butler, fused glass artist, to our gallery! Judy has a BFA from the University of Utah where she focused on graphic design and illustration. She began working in glass in the early 2000’s. Judy creates a very unique product that displays quality of craftsmanship and design with a touch of whimsy! Come on in and be delighted!
Our gallery members are always up to something! Sonja Hamilton has been teaching free plein air classes in Yosemite Valley for many years. She just finished her weeklong class in May. What a bonus for Yosemite Valley visitors!
