ECLETIC: Fusion of Two

Please join us at The Art League of Lincoln’s Spotlight Gallery for two receptions for “ECLECTIC! – Fusion of Two”. This show features work by Mixed Media Artist Gini Crepps and Kiln-Formed Glass Artist Trisa Swerdlow. Both will be sharing some of their recent works.

Opening Reception, June 12th, 2021 from 1:00pm- 3:00pm. Enjoy live music by The Blue Oaks Acoustic Band and light refreshments. 

Artists Reception, June 17th, 2021 from 5:00pm- 7:00pm. Enjoy live music by The Blue Oaks Acoustic Band and light refreshments. 

The receptions are free to attend and open to all. (Please wear a mask to attend)

The show runs May 29th thru June 26th, 2021 and is open during regular Art League hours, Wed – Sat, 11 am – 3 pm.

Dana Billelo-Barrow Featured in 2021 Ceramic Artwork Calendar

Dana’s new  “Everythings Fluid” Series, was chosen to be part of the 2021 Ceramic Arts Network  Color Burst  Calendar. 

“Everything’s Fluid, in Citron” was chosen to be part of the “Women In Art” show at the Las Laguna Gallery, Laguna Beach, Ca, March 4th-27th.   Due to Covid restrictions this will be an online show.

Regarding the Passing of Terry Green

Terry joined the Gallery in 2020. He and his beautiful stained glass work will be missed and our condolences go out to his family, friends and fellow artists.

For the time-being, his work is still available at the Gallery, please call ahead if you’re interested in coming in to view or purchase his work. The photo below shows the pieces he had on display earlier in 2020.

A Statement from Terry’s family:
With deep sadness and grateful hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Green.  Terry Green died on January 22, 2021.  The cause was a single car accident in Georgetown, CA.

For the last decade of Terry’s retirement he enjoyed teaching others how to do stained glass.  As a hobby, he connected with Art on the Divide in Georgetown, CA and Auburn Old Town Gallery where he sold some of his tremendous stained glass pieces.

Terry was born on July 18, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio, the first of eight siblings.  His mother originally from Ohio, Barbara Green and father Lester Green are both deceased.  Terry is survived by brother Michael Green, and sisters Cathy Green, Debbie Moreland, Vickie Olmedo, Tammy Braun and Shirley Walsh.

Call for Artists

Auburn Old Town Gallery is celebrating our 25th anniversary this month and we’re seeking new artist members to join us.

Located in Historic Auburn Old Town, our visitors include long-time patrons who purchase for their own collections or for gifts, locals who bring visiting friends & family to Old Town, and restaurant patrons & tourists traveling to/from the slopes.

We are in a central location, close to the action during Spring and Summer events held in Old Town.

During the holiday season, we partner with the Classic Christmas event in Old Town, and the gallery is filled with gifts & decorations. We offer gift-wrapping year round.

We will jury new members on September 21st during our Membership Meeting.
