Hi, I’m Kimber Chin 🌸 I’m a textile and mixed media artist.
Tell us about your favorite art medium.
I love wet felting scarves and wraps. I also have started dabbling with hand dyeing silk and cotton.
Who/what is/are your biggest artistic influences?
I am very attracted to organic forms like an aerial view of a river, or a forest. I love curves, color and texture.
What motivates you to create?
I’m so motivated to create lightweight and beautiful warmth to increase joy and comfort in the world!
When is your favorite time of day to create?
Late morning!
Does art help you in other areas of your life?
Art helps me keep my center. We have so much bombarding us each day, and creating colorful functional art gives me peace and joy. I hope to confer that to the wearer of my art!
