Cathy McAllister is a self-taught up-cycle artist who started at a very young age. She took many different art classes in school and a variety of summer classes also.
Cathy creates fun, whimsical, colorful art with the purpose of making the viewer smile and feel happy. She enjoys working with all types of art and feels especially creative when mixing different items together to create something special.
She enjoys building items and being creative. Her inspiration comes from a variety of themes & sources: movies, nature, and more. Cathy always looks for colors and different items that inspire. She loves going to thrift stores to find items for her art and utilizes a variety of media to add fun textures to her work.
